The Montenotte Residential Development Scheme was a residential construction project involving the development of 16 high-quality units along with comprehensive siteworks in Arbutus, County Cork. OCF Project & Commercial Management played a dual role in the success of the Montenotte Residential Development Scheme, providing both Quantity Surveying and Project Management services. Our involvement was instrumental in ensuring that the project was delivered efficiently, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

1. OCF’s Quantity Surveying team delivered end-to-end cost management services to keep the project on a sound financial footing throughout its lifecycle. Our role began with cost estimation and budget planning, providing a clear financial overview to guide decision-making. We prepared comprehensive bills of quantities, outlining detailed specifications of the required materials and resources, to ensure an efficient and well-planned procurement process.We facilitated tender management by evaluating bids and selecting the most suitable contractors to ensure the best value for money while maintaining high quality. Additionally, we implemented cost control measures and managed cash flow to ensure that spending was kept within budget without compromising on the quality of the build. By conducting risk assessments and applying mitigation strategies, OCF ensured that any financial uncertainties were managed proactively, helping to keep the project on track and within the allocated budget.
